Paola Petrobelli

Upright, was designed to be taken apart and put together in thousand of different configurations.

Stacks, order, patterned sequences, and interactions between multiple sections are some of the recurring themes in Petrobelli's work.

Upright was developed in collaboration with Siegfried Contemporary, London.

Each lamp in the series consists of 12 hand blown forms designed to perfectly stack.

All sections are hand blown in Venice, some are transparent and some are non-see-through made with "incamiciato glass".

The versatile lamps further the process of creativity, continuing beyond the original creator to the owner of the chosen elements, encouraging the collector to explore together with Petrobelli the themes of shape, colour and composition.
